This luxurious drum shaped Velvet Lampshade is handmade to order using the small US washer fitting (1/2 inch) frames which work with the harp/vertical rod system. Choose your velvet outside colour with either a choice of brushed gold lining with gold frame fitting or brushed silver lining with silver frame fitting

Velvet can show lighter or darker depending on the direction of the pile.
For a lamp the ring fitting in the centre of the lampshade sits approx 40mm up from the bottom of the shade OR for a ceiling pendant lampshade the ring fitting sits approx 40mm down from the top of the shade.
All my shades are lined with a professional flame retardant PVC.
We recommend using an energy saving light bulb.
Top and Bottom edges are hand rolled on all of my lampshades.
**DUE TO THE LAYERS OF MATERIALS USED TO CREATE THIS SHADE THE LINING DOES NOT ALLOW THE LIGHT TO PENETRATE THROUGH THE SIDES THEREFORE THE LIGHT IS DIRECTIONAL GIVING A WARM GLOW TOP AND BOTTOM. THE LARGER THE SHADE THE MORE LIGHT YOU WILL HAVE**
